This large jar measures 16 inches tall and was glazed and then first fired in the Notre Dame anagama. It had lots of good information on it from the 7 day firing, but it was underfired, and lots of the accumulated ash was not melted. I added a bit more ash, colorant, flux and Mt. Saint Augustine volcanic ash, and re-fired it in my gas reduction kiln. It's quite a lovely indication of how beautiful and complex one pot can be.

Firing Process: Wood-fired
Type of Work: large jars (tsubo)
