TRIPLE-GLAZED TEA BOWL, #1019: SOLD $145

This teabowls measures 3.75 inches tall.

It was glazed using the methods described in my April 2020 Ceramics Monthly article about triple-glazing. This approach creates great complexity and surprise - which it what I'm looking for at this moment. The results require long and careful clean-up with diamond grinding tools: the results are a clean smooth foot on a remarkable bowl.

Note the two tiny gold additions in the first photo.

Firing Process: Glaze-fired
Type of Work: tea bowls (chawan)
